Pavich Law Group’s legal intern, Jada, is a young mother, a college student at Oakton College in Des Plaines, Illinois, where she is finalizing her degree in paralegal studies, and a former client of Pavich law Group.

Jada has always had an interest in the justice system, but for a long time, she wasn’t sure where that interest would take her. Her path became clearer after a series of personal experiences brought her to Pavich Law Group, first as a client and, years later, as a legal intern.

Finding the Right Representation

Jada experienced three significant car accidents over a relatively short period, all of which required legal assistance. After her first accident, Jada hired an attorney, but felt that her concerns were not fully heard or understood by the firm representing her. When she was involved in a second accident, she decided to look elsewhere for help. A friend who had previously worked with Pavich Law Group recommended the firm.

During this vulnerable time, Jada was scared, confused, and anxious, but her experience with Pavich was noticeably different. From the beginning, she felt seen and heard. The team kept her informed, explained each step of the process, and took the time to ask how she was doing, not simply how the case was progressing.

In 2024, Jada experienced another serious accident—this time while she was nearly 20 weeks pregnant.

While she was driving, another vehicle made an illegal U-turn and struck Jada’s vehicle head-on. The airbags deployed, bystanders came to help, and Jada had to be extricated from her car. She was taken to the emergency room with neck injuries.

In the middle of an overwhelming experience, Jada’s thoughts immediately turned to her pregnancy, the safety of her child, her health, her finances, and what would happen next. She knew she needed to contact Anastasia Pavich.

“I remember thinking, I have to call Anastasia,” Jada recalls.

For Jada, knowing that the legal process was being handled by Pavich law Group gave her relief during an incredibly difficult time. From Client to Legal Intern

About two years later, Jada returned to Pavich Law Group, but this time in a completely different role.

When the opportunity to become a Legal Intern arose, Pavich felt like a natural fit for Jada. She knew firsthand how the firm treated its clients and wanted to continue developing her legal education while being part of a team that genuinely supports the people it represents.

Today, Jada brings more than her education and growing knowledge of the legal field to her role. She brings the perspective of someone who has personally experienced what it feels like to be on the other side of the phone and has shaped the legal professional she hopes to become.

She understands that when someone contacts a personal injury firm, they may be dealing with far more than the legal case itself. They may be recovering from an accident, worried about their finances, trying to understand what comes next, or simply looking for someone they can trust.
